You'll learn the special requirements for diving in an overhead environment, the techniques and communication methods, and the specialized equipment used in ice diving. You earn the SSI Ice Diving Specialty certification after completion.

The minimum age for this program is 18-years-old. An Open Water Diver certification is required. One online academic learning session is included as well. An optional pool/confined water session is part of this program, along with two open water dives. The maximum training depth is 30 meters/100 feet and the suggested duration is 6-10 hours.
